Greywolf Golf Course: 'I didn't think it was real'
PANORAMA, British Columbia -- Three hours north of the Idaho border, tucked away in eastern British Columbia is a one of a kind golf experience.
Greywolf Golf Course is set in the Purcell Mountains at roughly 4,000 feet elevation, the definition of mountain golf.

"I've played about 60 of the top 100 courses in Canada, and i'm just drawn to this place," said Garland Bouvier of Calgary. "The views, the scenery, the quality of the game."
The signature hole at Greywolf is the par three sixth hole, aptly named Cliffhanger.

From here it's playing about 165 yards. It's one of the most well known par 3's in Canada, and the top par three in British Columbia.
"It's deceptful, it kinda seems like it's a little bit farther than it really is," said Paul Robb of Calgary. "It's a really hard club selection, you know. I actually want to tee up three or four to see what club to use."
"I still remember my first time stepping on this tee box," said Gavin Moran, the club's head pro, "and I didn't think it was real. I'd seen photos, and I got out here and stood up, and I just couldn't believe my eyes."
Cliffhanger is just one of 18 spectacular holes. Everywhere you look, nature serves up fresh air and breathtaking views.
