Why don't you go talk to the mayor yourself?

Summary

Maybe you bend your neighbor's ear. You might even write a letter to the newspaper, call those folks over at the TV station or post a snarky comment online. C'mon: Go talk to her yourself.

Why don't you go talk to the mayor yourself?

EUGENE, Ore. -- Maybe you bend your neighbor's ear. You might even write a letter to the newspaper or call those folks down at the TV station.

C'mon. Go talk to her yourself.

Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy will hold one-on-one meetings with the public Tuesday, July 28, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Albertsons, 311 Coburg Road.  George Poling, City Councilor for Ward 4, will join Mayor Piercy there to speak directly with community members.

The mayor's office siad the sessions are an opportunity for any resident of Eugene to speak individually with their mayor on any topic of concern.

Mayor Piercy holds the meeting in a different neighborhood each month in an ongoing effort to make participation in civic matters more accessible for interested residents, her office said.
