Police searching for 4 runaway children
SHERIDAN, Ore. (AP) — Authorities are searching for four children — one of them just 4 years old — who ran away from their Sheridan foster parents.
Sheriff Jack Crabtree of Yamhill County says the children bolted during a walk to the grocery store on Saturday and have not been seen since.
The children, a 4-year-old boy and three girls ranging in age from 8 to 17, have been entered as missing in state and national law enforcement computer files as missing.
Crabtree says he believes the children had help from somebody. Given that they had been placed in a foster home for their protection, that concerns him.
