Deer poached, butchered and dumped along Lane Co. road
JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- Police want your help identifying who poached, butchered and dumped a buck deer near Junction City, Ore.
Oregon State Police suspect the crime happened on or about Aug. 10. Parts of the deer were dumped on the shoulder of Ferguson Road west of Junction City.
A reward is being offered by the Oregon Hunters Association Turn in Poacher (TIP) reward program for information leading to an arrest in this case.
Preliminary investigation by OSP Trooper Marc Boyd indicates the crime happened on or about August 10, 2009. Parts of the deer were dumped on the shoulder of Ferguson Road west of Junction City.
