SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Police nabbed another 15 people with undercover cops posing as prostitutes last week, even after a major bust two months ago where 13 people were arrested on suspicion of prostitution, including a public school superintendent who later resigned.

Like the sting in July, the latest sting took place in the same part of downtown Springfield where sometimes there are lines of cars waiting to pick someone up.

Sgt. Rich Charboneau with Springfield Police Department took a guess at why prostitutes and johns keep coming back to a part of downtown Springfield that is also home to bars and gentleman's clubs.

"Either they're not watching the news or they're thinking they're not going to get caught," he said. "Most of the people of course don't get caught because we don't do these that often."

In the latest sting, police arrested 15 people all together, including one woman. Police made two separate arrests for meth.

The arrests happened over a two-day period from Aug. 21 to Aug. 22. Springfield police delayed publicizing the arrests due to a follow up investigation, the department said in a press release.

Police charged the following people on suspicion of prostitution Aug. 21 and Aug. 22:
