Grad student, 25, dies on Halloween from swine flu

PORTLAND, Ore. -- A graduate student at Lewis & Clark College has died of complicatinos from the swine flu.

Kris Kerstiens, 25, was getting his Master of Arts degree in teaching. His parent say he was first started getting sick a few weeks ago before dying at 2:40 a.m. Oct. 31.

Friends have set up a memorial on Facebook to remember Kerstiens, who his parents describe as "vibrant."
