Eugene - For new moms it can be hard to lose the extra weight from pregnancy. But a program that's helping mom's shed the pounds is rolling into Eugene. It's called Baby Boot Camp, and it helps mom's lose the weight while spending time with their little ones.

It's no walk in the park for a group of moms, they're at Alton Baker Park for a new program called Baby Boot Camp. And their leader is Meredith Mills, a mom of two turned personal trainer.

"My daughter is almost 2, and my son is just 12 weeks and I like a lot of mom's didn't loose all my baby weight before I got pregnant again, so I brought baby boot camp to Eugene because we need it," says Mills.

After a quick warm up, the moms take off on a stroller fitness program where they run, walk or jog, squat and lunge, push and pull, under the watchful eye of their babies.

"It's really hard to find time and with a gym you have to pay for a membership as well as childcare, it's not included," says new mom Heidi Kendall.

"If you see some of the babies they will lift their arms and do things and whenever I go walking with my daughter, she moves her little arms and they learn very quickly to mimic you. So it's a great way to start instilling it at a young age," says new mom Colleen Glick.

It's not just for the workout at baby boot camp, the moms also come to make new friends. "It's a great way to meet other people it's a great way to meet other mom's and everybody is going for the same thing," says Glick.

And at the end of the day, Glick says the babies are tired, but the moms are too "I'm good, sore, I've been drinking a lot of water, taking Ibuprofen and stretching."
