A storm pounded Western Oregon as the Ducks and Beavers battled each other and the weather at then, Parker Stadium. After a costly second quarter Beaver fumble deep in their own zone, Danny O'Neil found Tight End Wily Tate for the only touchdown as Oregon won 7-0. It was the Beavers second straight one win season. The Ducks accepted a bid to play in the Independence Bowl.
