SALEM, Ore. – For its second year in a row, the Oregon Lottery's St. Patrick's Day raffle has created a new before-tax millionaire.

The winning $1 million raffle ticket is number 130,338. This special Oregon Lottery fundraiser also awarded 10 prizes at $20,000 and 1,000 prizes at $100 in addition to the top $1 million prize. (All of the winning numbers.)

The $10 tickets went on sale Sunday, Jan. 24, at 5 a.m., selling out all 250,000 tickets well before Wednesday's drawing.

The raffle provides relatively good odds compared to the millions who enter, say, the multi-state Powerball. Odds of getting the $1 million prize were one in 250,000. Odds of the $20,000 prize were one in 25,000. And odds of the $100 prize were one in 250.

In the first St. Patrick’s Day Raffle, held in 2009, Chuck Mickes was the $1 million winner. He lives in Camas, Wash.

For those looking to cash in their winning tickets, note that – due to state budget cuts – the Oregon Lottery's offices will be closed
Friday, March 19, for a state furlough day. The lottery joins other state offices across Oregon also closed Friday.

Since 1985, the Oregon Lottery has distributed nearly $7 billion to economic development, public education, state park and watershed-enhancement projects.
