Missing camper
PORTLAND, Ore. - More than 70 volunteers are combing off-trail areas for a Portland man missing in the Roaring River Wilderness of the Mount Hood National Forest.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's office said Saturday that good weather is helping search and rescue teams push through rocky
terrain in search of 57-year-old hiker Robert Bissell.
Rescuers are in their seventh consecutive day of searching for him.
Bissell left for a camping and hiking trip July 12 in the remote wilderness area of the Rock Lakes basin. His family reported him missing last week when he did not return home.
