Cars collide on Marcola Road

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - Two cars sideswiped each other near the corner of Marcola and Old Mohawk roads on Friday morning as a light rain fell.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Both drivers declined medical attention at the scene.

One car wound up in a ditch, the other in a field after the collision.
