Deputies rescue calf from flood waters

COOS BAY, Ore. - Sheriff's deputies rescued a calf from the swollen flood waters of Coos River on Thursday.

Coos County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Deputies Doug Strain and Will Krahenbuhl got the calf out of the war near Rooke Higgins Boat Ramp, about 7 miles up Coos River Hwy (US 241), east of Coos Bay.
