Kitzhaber orders flags at half-staff in memory of soldier

SALEM, Ore. -- Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber ordered all flags at public institutions to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Nov. 19 in honor of Captain James Nehl.
“CPT Nehl was a dedicated leader serving his country,” Kitzhaber said in a press release. “His commitment to his nation is inspiring, yet his death is a tragic loss and a reminder of the burden our military and their families continue to bear. He will be missed, and I ask that all Oregonians pause this Monday to honor his sacrifice.”
Nehl, 37, of Gardiner, Ore., died Nov. 9 while conducting combat operations in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the Army's 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division from Fort Riley, Kansas.
Rest in peace, Sir.
Â
Sickens me that a guy who ducked service in the Viet Nam war because of his silver spoon and family deep pockets would have the gall to say anything about any military person. Just the fact that he utters their names, disrepsects their memory.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice, you will not be forgotten.

What a wasted life to have died for the globalist's wars of greed and empire...
