EUGENE, Ore. - A second alleged victim of abuse has filed a lawsuit against the United Methodist Church with claims against a former Eugene pastor.
A Portland man filed the lawsuit in Multnomah County Circuit Court, alleging Pastor William Walker molested the plaintiff as a teenager.
It's the second lawsuit in a month against the church and Walker.
Walker was senior pastor at the First United Methodist Church in Eugene from 1982 until his death from AIDS in 1992.
The man filing suit is identified only as Jeff Doe. He claims the alleged abuse began when he was 14.
"Those sexual acts occurred at the church building in Pastor Walker's office. They occurred at Camp Magruder, methodist church camp; and they occurred in pastor walker's car," said attorney Gilion Dumas.
Dumas said Pastor Walker allegedly molested Jeff Doe more than 50 times in four years.
The suit seeks $4.5 million in damages.
Greg Nelson of the Oregon-Idaho Conference of the United Methodist Church said Wednesday that they've not been served a copy of the lawsuit and can not comment on the suit.
His word against a dead person???  HHhhmmmmm!!!
@Myownopinion! Walker infected his own wife with AIDS - she died a year before he did. He has had many men admit that he either propositioned them or actually had sex with them while he was a married minister.
It's just about getting money at this point.Â

It's what is wrong with our world... attorneys and greed. You just can't tell the difference between the two.

@Jason Marks BTW, it's "it's"--not its. Being a functional illiterate doesn't help your side look like anything but a bunch of buffoons. Just ask about 99% of the posters on this forum.
Oh my goodness, I forgot the  ' .  Yep that makes me illiterate. AND it drags down my cause.... (what ever that is)

Did I spell anything else wrong? Â The retard is the guy who's only comment is about
the apostrophe.Â
Â
The guy is dead, It's not about who is getting "off scott-free" Â and he has been dead a LONG time ago. Â
Â
I got molested, I moved on. Â I wouldn't want to bring it back up 25 years later. Â The point is: clearly someone saw money and wants it. Â Never mind the money they see is not related to what happened 25-30 years ago.Â
Â
Money will never do anything to make it right.  Nothing whatsoever.  It won't make you happy, it won't fix your dysfunction, it won't fix how you think, it won't fix your tendencies, it won't fix your private thoughts, it won't fix your marriage.  Tell me what it fixes 25 years later?  Nothing.  It just rips open a scar.Â

You don't have much of any business commenting in this section, in my opinion, unless you went through that.  And I did, and I am not ashamed of it either.Â

The insensitive bastar-d is you necron.Â
Â
@Jason Marks Definitely child molesters should get off scott-free, because greed. Meanwhile, if you're a banker, greed is good. Just depends on whom you are buggering and how, huh?
What's that? Another Christian pedophile? I suppose he was just doing what God told him to do.
"I suppose he was just doing what God told him to do."

Nah. I seriously doubt that.
And, judging by your online name... you should, too.
