EUGENE, Ore. - A suspect who exposed his genitals to women near the University of Oregon law school Thursday may be the same man who forcibly fondled women's breasts near campus a week earlier.

The UO Department for Public Safety has reported four incidents so far, all of which occurred during the day on street corners near campus. The suspect in all the incidents was described as a clean-shaven white male, about 20 years old, with short blond or light brown hair, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 with an average build.

The latest incident happened Thursday, Aug. 23, at 2:45 p.m. near the law school at 15th and Agate. Officials told KVAL News that in the latest incident a woman reported that she was walking down Agate alley near the law school when the suspect grabbed her from behind and wiped a bodily fluid on her back.

Witnesses reported that the man has stood in front of women with his hands down his pants and then pulled down his pants to expose his genitals, according to DPS Officials.

One of the witnesses told authorities the same man had approached her a week earlier near 21st and Emerald, asked for directions to the law school and then touched her chest with his hand.

Another woman reported a similar incident Aug. 18 near 18th and University. She told police she was walking on the south side of 18th Avenue toward University Street when she encountered a man who asked her for directions to the UO law school. When the woman reached out to point the direction, the man placed his palm on her breast.

Students and neighbors living near the UO campus have said that the events have made them uncomfortable. Heather Woodsum lives in the neighborhoods around the University and said the events are too close for comfort.

"I have a kid, you know. He's 10 ... and I worry about that stuff being around, so close to home." Woodsum said.

Since there is a high probability that these incidents are related, police are asking residents and students to be aware of their surroundings and to report anything that could be suspicious. They said that there is a possibility that the man's actions could escalate.
