Masked man robs gas station at knifepoint
CORVALLIS, Ore. - A masked man robbed a gas station at knifepoint Saturday afternoon, police said.
The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall with a thin build and blond eyebrows. He fled the scene in a small white car.
The man walked into the office of the Shell station on NW 9th Street brandishing a large knife and demanding cash. The employee fled the office and asked a customer to call 911.
The suspect also ran from the scene, jumping in a car and driving off.
Anyone in the area during the time of the incident that may have witnessed someone acting suspicious or out of place, or witnessed a white vehicle speeding north on 9th Street, is asked to contact the Corvallis Police Department at (541) 766-6924.
