Water and wind disrupt highways

SEASIDE, Ore. - A notorious stretch of Highway 101 closed to cars Monday morning as flood warning continued for coastal northwest Oregon.

Trucks are still allowed through at 5 mph, 2 miles south of Seaside, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

A little further inland, downed trees had closed Highway 26 east of Hwy 101.

And on the soutth coast, Hwy 101 was closed northbound near the McCullough Bridge in North Bend after a crash involving a commercial truck and a tree.

ODOT is on scene, removing the tree and arranging a tow for the truck.
