Woman hits bus driver

EUGENE, Ore. - A woman hit a bus driver after he told her not to put her feet up on the seat in front of her last Thursday.
Police responded to the assault just after 7 p.m. on Oct. 4.
A woman got on the Lane Transit District bus near Barger Drive and Golden Gardens Street and took a seat near the rear of the bus, putting her feet up on the seat in front of her.
When the bus driver told her not to put her feet up, the woman reportedly became belligerent, police said.
The driver pulled the bus to the side of the road and told the woman to get off.
Before leaving the bus, the woman hit the bus driver, causing minor injuries.
Police hope the public will recognize the suspect in the surveillance photos and contact Officer Sean Kelley at 541.682.5154 x 1144.
She is described as 5-foot-7, 19 or 20 years old with a slim build and blonde shoulder-length hair.
What is really sad is I know this girl.. well let me re-state this. I knew her when she was a kid. She is one of three kids! She had a very good childhood with two very loving parents. The other two kids do very well. They are very good kids.. get good grades and both have jobs.  I know her Parents are wonderful hard working people ! I have no idea what went wrong with Tamela. I do not feel sorry for her for.......Life is what you make it!  They ones I feel for are her parents and sibling. I hope that PEOPLE do not judge them for what Tamela has done.    Tamela has had many Opportunities to get help from so many people. What do you do with some one who does nothing but lie and take from every one she knows?   Â

Yep, you're not supposed to hit a driver. Is that clear enough for you?
Isn't this something. hmmm they put this in the paper and make a big to do about it (which is the right thing to do) but when a bus driver assaults a passenger for no cause or reason it is never known to the public. I am still waiting for results from an assault by a LTD driver on Aug. 21 to be resolved. To me they are simply dragging their feet on this one. Hopefully they will come thru soon.

My boyfriend came home from Dari-Mart last Thursday night with one heck of a story about this hooligan. She was telling everyone in the store that the bus driver kicked her off the bus and blah, blah, blah. Then she couldn't find her wallet to pay for the stuff she was buying and just went nuts. Apparently she all but stripped out of her clothes looking for the wallet. My guy quickly left the store but he sure felt badly for the poor Dari-Mart employee left to deal with her!
