Does billboard comparing Obama to alleged shooter go too far?
CALDWELL, Idaho (KBOI) - A Caldwell billboard is raising questions in the Treasure Valley as it compares President Obama to accused Colorado killer, James Holmes.
The billboard on Franklin Road equates the actions of the president's foreign policies to the acts of Holmes, who's suspected of killing 12 people in the theater shooting.
The group that owns the board, The Ralph Smeed Foundation, says it wants to draw attention to military men and women dying overseas.
"(It's) way over the line, and I am not an Obama supporter," Lynn Davis Hathaway, said on the KBOI 2News Facebook page.

Ashley Helton, who also wrote on Facebook, agrees with the group.
"It's a free country, this group has a right to voice their opinion no matter what anyone thinks about it," Helton said.
President Obama recently visited the Pacific Northwest - making stops in Portland and Seattle.

The Progressive Liberals are the last people on earth that should be criticizing the very thing that they do best. They are absolutely and unequivically the masters at the blame game. They are masters at not accepting responsibility for anything. If I had a dime for everytime Obama blamed Bush or the Republicans for something, I could pad my low interest bank account. There is an old saying, "If you live in a glass house, you should not throw stones". Obama has all the main stream media backing him, so he has an advantage out of the gates. If the Progressives have their way for very much longer free speech will cease to exist. I am not a fan of either the Progressive Democrats (socialists) or the Republicans. They are all career politicians that have only one goal and that is to get re-elected. We need someone with "Honor" and "Honesty". Is there anyone out there now that can fill that bill?

To be fair (and I cant stand obama), Bush's foreign policy also killed thousands. Â And, the nobel peace prize is a completely useless and meaningless thing.
 @Micah Branstetter And the same things were said about Bush while he was in power. Meaningless or not, it's an honor that shouldn't have been given to him. And it's not just a metal... it's over a million dollars. =/ Giving it to Obama just cheapened the whole thing...
I thought he was given the Nobel long before he did anything. Except win the election. Does it go to far? Not compared to his lies.
Freedom of speech isn't always pretty. But it's a right, no matter what people think about it.
@PleaseBeSmart  I don't like the man, and I don't like this billboard but I LOVE the fact that we live in a country where freedom of one's speech is considered an "inalienable right"..
