EUGENE, Ore. - Mr. and Mistress Appliance, the owners of Mr. Appliance in Eugene, sued former tenants on a national court TV show and won.
Rico Kreindel, known as Mr. Appliance from local Television ads, said he and his wife Roxy Rich decided to sue former tenants after winning numerous judgments at the Lane County Courthouse that were never paid up.
“This time, I’m going to get paid," said Roxy Rich, who goes by Mistress Appliance in local TV ads. "I’m going on TV court!”
Rich said the couple won a $2,200 dollar judgment on "Judge Alex," a syndicated courtroom television show that appears locally on KEVU.
“We had photographic evidence," said Rich in her appliance store on Friday. "He had invoices for absolutely everything, so going in we had a great case. I knew we would win.”
The couple said they sued former tenants who lived in one of their rentals on F St. In Springfield for damages that were made to the property. They sued for $3,500.
The episode featuring the couple was aired on KEVU at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The used appliance store, Mr. Appliance, is located at 1593 West 2nd Street in Eugene.
I miss the honorable days where matters like these could be settled with a simple duel (flintlock pistol not assault weapons, so we're clear) where the courts weren't burning millions of dollars of tax payer money!
I wouldn't buy a thousand dollar appliance from these clowns if they sold it to me for a hundred dollars!
Mr. Appliance Rawks. Wuaaaah!
what is this junk? i clicked on Rich's picture thinking it was another faces of meth poster.
sometimes intelligence skips a generation - these two are proof - they are the generation that was skipped.
@colorowdy You're too funny! OMG
Very nasty looking people. The place looks discuting to.
Just looking at the pictures makes me NEVER want to step foot in that shop. Then the wording on the sign about stairs sealed the deal. Very rude.
They are definately the shadiest appliance business around! I have made the mistake of buying a washer from them. It broke after two days and when i called them a million times, because they NEVER answer their phone, he said I would have to bring it back to him. Even though his ad says they will come to you if its within the 90 day warranty. I brought it back and he tried to blame it on me...hes a skeez.... I will NEVER buy anything from then nor will IÂ EVER recommend them!!
@angeleyes555 (Second time trying to post this.)  Several years ago he had a coupon in the paper for 10 percent off or some such. I went to redeem it and he refused to accept it saying something like, "That promotion didn't work out the way we expected it to so we're not honoring the coupons.Â
I never went back.
which one is the mr.??????? which ever one is the miss she is very handsome, mr. appliance sucks, I have never bought nor will I ever buy from them.
