Oakway Center in negotiations with Nordstrom
EUGENE, Ore. - Oakway Center confirmed the mall is in negotiations with Nordstrom for the anchor retail space left vacant when Borders Books liquidated its stores.
Steve Korth said the parties are getting closer to a lease agreement after a long period of negotiations.
He said he hopes to see the negotiations completed soon to fill the vacant space with a Nordstrom Rack store.
Oakway Center's other tenants include Old Navy, Trader Joe's, and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Better than being empty. Â I used to hit that Borders in the past; was sad to see it go.
Yes please. We need at least two Nordstroms in Eugene/SPFD
The average price for a pair of jeans there is over 100.00. Our area would not be able to sustain two Nordstroms.Â
