A new passenger-focused Web site has been launched by the Eugene Airport. It will benefit patrons by providing easy access to all the information they need when planning a trip or traveling to or from EUG.

The site features a fare-finder search engine that seeks out the lowest ticket prices available. A flight-tracker function allows passengers to see the most current flight information. Passengers can also set up a free account to access advanced tracking options, like e-mail or cell phone alerts and real-time flight tracking maps. Weekly flight promotions by airlines serving Eugene will also be featured on the site.

"FlyEUG.com offers easy to use features to help the traveling public quickly find the information they’re looking for," said Cathryn Stephens, director of marketing and public relations for the Eugene Airport. "In addition, it provides a great way to promote the routes served by airlines operating at the Eugene Airport."

Long-term plans for the site include the addition of an e-commerce function that will allow passengers to purchase tickets directly from the FlyEUG.com Web site.

The City of Eugene/Airport website pages will be maintained with current flight information in addition to all other aspects of aviation related activities at the Eugene Airport.
