2013 Best Colleges list includes Oregon, Oregon State
EUGENE, Ore. - The 2013 Best Colleges edition of the US News and World Report ranks Oregon at #115 and Oregon State at #139 among national universities.
All of the universities in the Pac-12 made the national list, led by Stanford at #6. Princeton and Harvard tied for #1, followed by Yale at #3.
Among national liberal arts colleges, Willamette University in Salem led the way from Oregon at #63. Whitman College in Washington state ranked the best amongst Northwest schools at #43.
For graduate programs at national universities, the UO College of Education ranked #8. The UO School of Law came in at #82. The School of Business ranked #91.
The Oregon State College of Engineering ranked #82.

Good grief! To use a file photo of the movie Animal House in this story is totally inappropriate. Animal House was a sophomoric fantasy from the 70's. Are there no other photos on file in your office that more reflect the mores of Eugene and Corvallis. Why perpetuate the myth?
