Cost of groceries expected to jump again

The USDA says the average family of four will pay $615 dollars more for groceries next year.
The agriculture department predicts that beef, dairy, poultry, eggs and pork will increase anywhere from 3.5 to 5 percent next year.
So it's time to grab some savings.
"You want to go into the supermarket and you want to buy beef and chicken when it's on sale and you want to freeze it," says Phil Lempert, the Supermarket Guru. "But keep in mind, it's only going to last in that original packaging if you freeze it properly for about six months."
Lempert says you need to rethink what you buy.
"We need out protein, it's a building block of life, but it doesn't have to come from beef or chicken. Think about all the alternative sources that are less expensive. There are some great buys out there. For example, think about switching from beef and chicken to pork and to seafood, which isn't being affected by this."
It’s going to be tough to hold a line on your groceries bills next year. But by planning ahead, shopping the sale and cashing-in on coupons, you can do it.

The price of fuel and the current administrations policies and regulations have a large impact on what is happening now. I remember well the problems during the Carter Admininstration, and many are saying this is as bad or worse than that. The Feds can't keep printing and borrowing money without causing inflation, so hang on, it is coming big time.
Just more bad news, Of course our "for the rich, by the rich" government of parasites dont buy thier own food. This country is bound to fail with leaders like ours.
