School supply donation drive

EUGENE, Ore. - School supplies are the "tools of the trade" for school children.

St. Vincent de Paul's Annual School Supply drive aims to collect enough backpacks, calculators, pens and pencils, binders, markers and crayons to equip 3,000 elementary school students in need this fall.

You can help by purchasing school supplies and putting them in a donation barrel at any of the following locations:

  • All St. Vincent de Paul Retail Thrift Stores including Albany, Florence and Oakridge;
  • Bi-Mart stores (Eugene, Springfield, Junction City, Albany and Florence)
  • Capella Market
  • Jerry's Home Improvement Centers
  • Oregon Community Credit Unions in Springfield
  • University of Oregon Foundation office
  • St. Jude Catholic Church
  • PacificSource
  • Walgreens
  • Pentagon Federal Credit Union

All donations made locally stay local to help neighborhood children, St. Vincent said.
