Truth behind 'Datsun daughter' car ad
EUGENE, Ore. - Sex sells everything, from cheeseburgers to perfume. Cars are no exception.

The photos aren't something new for automotive dealer, which features a pin-up section on its website.
But on eBay, the man behind the ads claimed to be the model's father - and having his daughter pose in panties to sell a car turned some heads.
One eBay user posted on the ad: "Does buying the car include a free ride with the porn star?"
Kim Ridley, the owner of Ridley's Rides, responds: "That's not a nice way to talk about my daughter, but sure! Hit 'buy it now.'"
Ridley, a Eugene resident, confessed to KVAL News on Wednesday that the girl in the photos is not his daughter but a longtime friend.
He said the whole thing started out as a joke that maybe went a little too far: Ridley said he is getting calls from TV stations and newspapers across the country.
But the car sold: the top bidder offered $7,500 for the low-miles sports car.

I follow Datsuns, and this car wasn't worth anywhere near $7,500.00.  Either the buyer got screwed, or it's just another lie by a self confessed liar. I'm thinking him and her have a lot in common.

Sorry but, the (way overdone) tats and facial piercings are not attractive.  Trash may sell in the short run, but it's a long life and poor decisions don't make it easier over time.

WOW. Lot of little minded people on here this morning saying all sorts of mean stuff. Shame people can't live and let live. Hope that some day those sharp words you used come back at ya so you know how it feels. And no I didn't care for the photos. Don't personal care for that kind of art she has on her body......but that's why its her art and not mine. But calling the kid his daughter.....don't care how you slice that one, that was just wrong.

Why do people ruin themselves with tattoos and piercings all over their faces and bodies. I don't mind them if they can be hidden when need to be.  I would never hire her for a job. She is scary looking. Absolutely not classy looking.Â

Just cause you have tattoos does NOT mean you are a bad person. It is a form of art, but of course you will judge by appearance, and not by the actual person. You are whats wrong with our society.

People have such outrage of something that's been found to be a non issue. She is someones daughter to those rude people who are calling her Trashy. Whether you think it is or not the human for in all mediums is art and just cause you don't like it you think it's ok to treat the model and photographer as garbage shows that the real problem her is not the model or the photography but the blatant disregard of respecting your fellow human that has become apparent by reading the multitudes of "Outrage" that people hide behind as they treat others like garbage. Way to go humanity!
