VENETA, Ore. - The Oregon Country Fair is a summertime tradition of color, sound and harmony.
"Here you leave your cell phones, you leave the TV, you leave your computer," said a fairgoer who identified herself as Little Bo Peep. "You just come here and it's mystical."
Creativity is encouraged at the Fair, especially when it comes to attire.
And anywhere you look, people are going, coming and doing in a million different directions.
For performers, an audience is always closeby.
After the weekend is done, fairgoers will each leave with something - perhaps a memory, a mood or a little magic.
Maybe they'll even leave with something more tangible.
"Multi-colored paint," Mikey Stevens said of the hues affixed to him. "I don't think it's going to come off."
