Oregon women in model contest need your vote
Tiffany Schmidt and Danielle White of Oregon are two of the Top 10 finalists in the Curvy Kate Star in a Bra modeling contest. You can vote for them online through June 27.

EUGENE, Ore. - Tiffany Schmidt and Danielle White need your votes.

The duo from Corvallis and Albany met swing dancing as students at Oregon State University.

They entered a national modeling contest and made the Top 10, joining eight other women in New York City for a makeover fashion shoot.

Oregon was the only state to send two women to the Top 10.

Now through June 27, you can vote online to help Schmidt and White try to win the U.S. Star in a Bra Model Search sponsored by U.K. brand Curvy Kate.

"With the average bust size in America growing to a 36DD and a lack of professional models to fill the cups, Curvy Kate is scouring America to find women with natural D plus cup sizes to accurately portray how their lingerie flatters fuller-busted bodies," the company said.

The winner will be chosen by public vote and announced June 29.

The winner will have the opportunity to receive an exclusive one-year international modeling contract with Curvy Kate, becoming the face and body of Curvy Kate in the U.S. and starring in a variety of online and print marketing initiatives.

The duo told KVAL News about their motivation for entering the contest.

"Basically, we want people to be proud of their body shape," said White.

"I see this as an opportunity to kind of get rid of the stereotype that's out there for models," said Schmidt.

"We've gotten such positive feedback from people, people saying that they admire us, admire how much we've put out there and it's been amazing having such feedback."
