Where was Danny Glover on MLK Day?

At an event at The Shedd Institute after the march, a spokesperson for Glover's foundation said the actor couldn't make it to the Eugene event. "Danny, due to illness, is not going to be here," David Tyler, Executive Director of The Danny Glover Foundation, said from the Shedd stage. Tyler read an apology from Glover, then said the actor had agreed to make an appearance in Eugene in May. Tyler then said he was trying to reach Glover by Skype. "On the count of three, I want everyone to say, 'Hello, Danny,'" he asked the crowd. The audience obliged as Tyler held his phone up to the room.
