Britney Spears's fiance has a new role

Britney Spears's fiance has a new role
HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--Jason Trawick was approved as a co-conservator for Britney Spears, according to People Magazine.

Spears's attorney asked that her fiancé be given legal authority over her well-being.

People Magazine also reports this new role of conservatorship is just a formality as they are set to be married.

Trawick will not have any legal control over the singer's money, which her father and another attorney continue to oversee.

Spears's father has had legal control over Britney since 2008, after she suffered a very public mental breakdown.
