LOWELL, Ore. - A Sweet Home woman will serve 10 years in jail for driving drunk and causing a crash that killed a Westfir woman last November.
Lori Jean McNamara, 46, died in a head-on crash on Highway 58 when an SUV driven by 38-year-old Traci Lynn Akers crossed the centerline.
Akers and her daughter were both taken by ambulance to the hospital after the crash.
She pleaded guilty to charges against her last week and was sentenced Tuesday to 120 months in prison, the maximum sentence.
The trash that is Akers will be out in less than 5 and back to killing more people. That's the way things work here.
@Deedledeeds Five, I would bet more like two. Failed criminal justice system.
Our dog, 'Spot'.
Looks like meth sores on her face.
Another life taken, another one down the toilet.
