Young woman wanted for Eugene bank robberies
EUGENE, Ore. - Police believe the same young woman robbed two downtown banks in two weeks, and they are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.
The woman is suspected of robbing the Pacific Cascade Federal Credit Union on Oak Street on Aug. 23 and the Pacific Continental Bank on High Street on Aug. 30. Both robberies happened during the 4 o'clock hour.
The suspect has been described as 18 to early 20s, about 110 to 125 pounds and 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 tall.
In the Aug. 23 robbery at the credit union, the suspect gave the teller a note demanding cash. She had brown hair and lots of acne and acne scars. She was last seen wearing a tan straw hat, sunglasses, a white shirt and blue jeans.
In the Aug. 30 incident at the bank, the woman again presented a note to the teller demanding money. This time, she showed up wearing a black Oregon baseball hat, dark sunglasses, light blue jeans and a black-hooded sweatshirt with the word "Sunriver" on the front.
