Wife sees crash that kills husband

OREGON CITY, Ore. -- The wife of a motorcyclist witnessed a traffic crash early Friday morning that killed her husband in Oregon City.

Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff's responded with Clackamas Fire District rescue personnel to the report of a motorcycle crash involving a car at just before 8 a.m. Sept. 10 at South Spring water Road and South Bakers Ferry Road in Oregon City.

Police said the spouse of the motorcyclist was following behind the motorcyclist in a separate vehicle and witnessed the crash occur involving her husband, who died at the scene. Members of the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) were summoned to the scene to assist with the severe emotional issues of those victim and witnesses at the scene.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Crash Reconstruction and Forensic Technicians (CRAFT) are investigating the crash.
