Leiken winning county seat, Robinson saying he'll be back

EUGENE, Ore. - Art Robinson gave Rep. Peter DeFazio a race this year and said he would run again as The Associated Press called the race for DeFazio on Tuesday Night.
"I'm going to spend the next two years educating the district about the things we stand for and run again," Robinson said.
The Republican candidate who once seemed likely to face DeFazio - Springfield Mayor Sid Leiken - appeared headed to victory in the Lane County Commission race to represent Springfield. Leiken left the Congressional race for the County Commission race after Oregon Democrats after questions about a campaign payment to his mother.
In the other Lane County Commission Race, Jay Bozievich declared victory over Jerry Rust in the West Lane County Commission race.
A reporter at the Election Central party hosted by Willamalane Parks and Recreation district said Rust left the party without making a statement.
