Mr. Axeman pageant honors drowned teens

EUGENE, Ore.--A emotional tribute and honoring tradition at South Eugene High School Saturday night.
The Mr. Axeman pageant raised about $48,500 for the Children's Miracle Network.
The pageant honored two finalists, teens Jack Harnsongkram and Connor Ausland, who died in a tragic drowning on the coast in February.
Saturday, 10 contestants competed for the title, but only eight finalists were present.
This year, not one, but two took the title: Harnsongkram and Ausland shared the Mr. Axeman title. Their brothers both stood in to accept the award.
The money raised in the pageant will go to Riverbend Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
