Kiko Alonso arrested, suspended
Coach Chip Kelly indefinitely suspended Duck linebacker Kiko Alonso after sheriff's deputies arrested the Los Gatos, Calif., junior in May and jailed him for investigation of felony burglary. Alonso was booked on charges of felony first degree burglary, second degree criminal mischief and first degree criminal trespassing, said Lt. Byron Trapp with the Lane County Sheriff's Office. Trapp said a Hilliard Lane resident in the River Road neighborhood called 911 at 1:18 a.m. Sunday saying an unknown white man in his 20s was at her door trying to break in.
