EUGENE, Ore. - It was bowling with the Ducks to raise some bucks on Saturday.

University of Oregon football players and coach Chip Kelly hit Emerald Lanes bowling alley Saturday to do a little bowling with some of their fans.

24 teams competed in the tournament benefiting fallen Eugene Police Officer Chris Kilcullen's family.

Kilcullen was fatally shot during a traffic stop in Springfield in April.

"When there's a chance to contribute to someone whose had a tragedy fall upon them, then it's, that's what I think we're all about and that's what we're supposed to do and we're excited to be a part of it," said Kelly.

The event raised more than $9,000.

That money will go directly to Officer Kilcullen's wife and two daughters.
