EDDYVILLE, Ore. - A truck driver was injured when his rig hauling two trailers loaded with rolls of paper hit a guardrail, left the road and rolled 30 feet down a hill.

Lest W. Kissinger, 57, of Beaverton, Ore., was taken by ambulance to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport with non-life threatening injuries, Oregon State Police said.

Kissinger's 2006 Freightliner was eastbound on Highway 20 Monday evening pulling two trailers loaded with paper rolls when the truck hit a guardrail while negotiating a curve.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for about an hour while emergency crews responded.
