EUGENE, Ore. - Customers found the Tuesday Farmers Market OK across the street from the usual location after the market moved to accomodate the Occupy Eugene tent city.
A protester told KVAL News that, unofficially, the Occupy Eugene camp plans to clear out Friday night and return the space for use by Eugene Saturday Market vendors.
Organizers of the market and the occupation have been in discussions to minimize the impact of the tent camp on vendors.
Some sellers expressed concern that the tent city would prevent them from setting up shop and selling their wares to customers.
