EUGENE, Ore.-- Stylists from the Blu Clark Salon were out in full force at Valley River Center Saturday, and it was all for a great cause.
Guests gave a minimum donation of twenty dollars to have their hair and makeup done by professional stylists.
Blu Clark, who owns the salon, said all profits will be going to the Susan G. Komen "For the Cure" foundation."I have so many clients and good friends that are survivors and their stories are amazing, and it inspired us at the salon to raise money for the event," Clark said.
Thousands will lace up their shoes and pound the pavement Sunday morning at the "Race for the Cure". The event starts at Autzen Stadium and also benefits the Susan G. Komen "For the Cure" Foundation.
