Relentless misery
There are two circles that resemble smiley faces on the Marine's forearms, but where the smile should be are the words "relentless" and "misery." "We're grunts and pretty much we're miserable all the time and we smile about it and embrace the suck," says LCpl John Martz about misery. "And relentless, like pretty much if youre a grunt you understand this cause if you get in a fight with us we're ready to do whatever we can to kill you."
