Never let go
LCpl Erik Johnson of Weapons Company has "0331" tattooed on his wrist, which symbolizes his job as a machine gunner, It is a common tattoo with the Marines. "Machine gunners are dedicated to their MOS (Military Occupational Specialty)," says Johnson. "It's pretty much bragging rights." The image of a woman with flowing hair grips a skull close to her chest, is inked on his bicep. "Me and my wife were talking one night and we were just asking each other stupid questions," says Johnson. He asked her, "If I ever died, would you let you go?" She answered, "No." The tattoo immortalizes her answer.
