SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - Holly Norsworthy went into labor early Thursday afternoon.
"I had no plans of even having her today," Norsworthy told KVAL News on Friday. "She's two and a half weeks early."
And all but exactly on time.
"She was born at 1:11 am," she said.
That's 1:11 a.m. on Nov. 11, 2011, or 11-11-11.
"Everyone just thought it was a really perfect day for her to choose," Norsworthy said. "My dad was saying a couple months ago he wanted her to be born on 11/11/11, that would be the perfect day for her to be born."
For Norsworthy, whose father is a military veteran, Veterans Day is a fitting birthday for the new grandchild.
"She definitely made an entrance," the new mom said. "She chose a big day - and the perfect numbers."
