LCC: Cougar spotted in parking lot

EUGENE, Ore. - Lane Community College warned students and staff Tuesday after a student spotted a cougar in a parking lot on the south side of campus.

The cat headed back into the woods adjacent to the school.

LCC asked students and staff to use caution in the vicinity of Lot L and report sitings to Public Safety at (541) 463-5558.

Earlier this month, LCC warned students and staff about cougar and bear sightings on or near the campus.
