Family escapes injury in I-5 rollover crash
CRESWELL, Ore. -- Troopers say a family managed to escape uninjured, after their car rolled on Interstate 5 Sunday afternoon.
Oregon State Police troopers say that a Cave Junction family were headed southbound on I-5 near Creswell just before 2:00 p.m., when their Honda Civic left the roadway and rolled.
The driver, Daniel Middleton, 36, said he lost control and the car rolled onto it's top in a ditch.
Middleton, his wife and 6-year-old daughter were able to escape uninjured.
Police say they were all wearing safety restraints.
OSP was assisted at the scene by the Goshen Fire Department, and the right southbound lane was closed for about 40 minutes while they cleaned up the wreck.
No citations were issued.
