EUGENE, Ore. - The Vintage restaurant and dessert bar opened in 2006, but it is more than just a restaurant to owners Shannon Ford and Megan Floretta. It is a dream come true that has been in the works since they were in the third grade.
Ford and Floretta are both Eugene locals. They attended Crest Drive Elementary School together and have been close friends ever since.
As youngsters they spent a lot of time in the kitchen together, trying to out do one another. It wasn't long before the two shared a dream of one day opening a restaurant together.
Fast forward through the college years and you'll find Ford and Floretta stumbling on an old house that is now their long time vision turned reality. Creative crepes and fanciful fondus make up the meat of the menu, but they also specialize in unique cocktails.

Crepe Batter
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons melted butter
Whisk together the flour and the eggs. Slowly stir in the milk and water. Add the salt and butter. Beat until smooth.
