Possible lost wolf pup being cared for at Zoo Boise

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game says the puppy was taken to a local veterinarian who thought the puppy might actually be a wolf pup.
A representative from Defenders of Wildlife agreed and Idaho Fish and Game was called in.
Fish and Game says it spent the next few days searching for a wolf pack in the area to return the pup, but couldn't find any sign of one.
Officials say Zoo Boise has agreed to care for the pup for now. It is not in good physical shape. Zoo officials say it appears very thin and stressed.
Fish and Game says they took a blood sample from the pup and are in the process of doing a DNA test to determine if it is a wolf, wolf-hybrid, or something else.
Biologists earlier this year said that there are between 500-600 wolves roaming throughout the state.
Defenders of Wildlife has put some video of the pup on YouTube. You can watch it below.
