Age-progression image shows Kyron Horman at age 9

PORTLAND, Ore. - Kyron Horman would be 9 years old now that two years have passed since he was last seen June 4, 2010.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children produced an age-progressed image showing what Kyron might look like two years after he disappeared.

Kyron was 7 years old when he was last seen at a pre-class science fair at Skyline Elementary School on the outskirts of Portland.

One of the largest manhunts in Oregon history failed to find him.

Investigators said Kyron's stepmother, Terri Horman, was the last person to see him the day he disappeared.

Terri claims she saw him walking into school on the day he went missing.

He was photographed with his science exhibit about tree frogs on the morning he disappeared.

Kyron was marked as absent from his first class and then did not get off the school bus at the end of the school day about eight hours later. Search efforts began a short time later and eventually involved numerous local law enforcement agencies, volunteers and the FBI.

Kyron's biological mother, Desiree Young, filed a $10 million civil lawsuit against Terri Horman this past week claiming that she is "responsible for the disappearance of Kyron."

Terri Horman has not been named by investigators as a suspect or a person of interest in the case. No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about Kyron's whereabouts is asked to call the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST) or the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office at 1-503-823-3333 or 1-503-261-2847 (tip line).
