Tasty Tuesday: Sweet Melissa's Munchies

EUGENE, Ore. - Melissa Norton was not having much luck in the job department.  She found herself laid off from several jobs for reasons like budget cuts and downsizing.  Instead of continuing along the same road, she decided to make a change.

"I said, 'I'm done," explains Norton, "I'm going to do my own thing now, and I'm not going to get another job that I really don't even like that much and then get let go at a whim."

 So she opened up Sweet Melissa's Munchies, a Eugene food cart near 7th and Chambers.  Now she's avoiding the daily office grind by doing something she truly loves.  Putting smiles on her customers faces with comforting creations like mac and cheese and the always popular grilled cheese.
