EUGENE, Ore. - Wednesday was technically a rest day for Olympic Track and Field Trials athletes, but that doesn't mean the running stops.
A number of Olympic hopefuls spent time at Lane Community College practicing.
Some turned out to LCC just to watch.
"You get an idea of what the coach's personalities are like and what their teaching practices are," said Jim Null, a coach at Springfield High School.
Null said he also watches the athletes' techniques and tries to pick up as much as he can.
